Allez Chaussettes Rouges!

Go Redsox!!! Next week I have to be in Boston for a Client site visit. I fly out Tuesday, meet with the client Wednesday morning and fly home that afternoon. Luckily I am traveling with someone who, so far, seems like a good guy that likes a little adventure no matter how little time there is. And also, luckily, the Redsox are playing the Texas Rangers at home Wednesday evening just after we land! Wahoo!!! I just ordered our tickets and was able to avoid the right field section where all the 'crazies' sit - I got seats in section 6 on row 3. Not too shabby - I just hope the drive up to Bedford from Fenway isn't too long so I can get some good sleep and be awake at the client's site. I will have to get my brother (a Yankees fan) a ginormous Redsox sweatshirt - he has a big birthday coming up!

Random blurb: So, I have a 3rd generation iPod that is rumored to have a questionable battery life. Apple recommends testing the battery to determine the time it takes to drain the battery. Basically, they - being Apple - have you turn off the backlight and turn on the 'repeat one' option. For some reason I chose 'Hollaback Girl' by Gwen Stafani to play over and over and over - not quite sure why I chose this song in particular - it has a catchy beat and I like Gwen - she is very sassy - I have no idea what a Hollaback girl is and after hearing the song every time I put in an ear plug to verify it is still playing I don't think I need to know. If you have never heard the song, before you listen be warned that the word s*%t is used about 16 times. I didn't realize that the first time I heard the song - which was on Saturday Night Live but now every time I put those plugs in that is the only word I hear! If you have heard the song - what is up with the bananas?

Give the Sox a good ol Bronx cheer for me k?
Have fun and be safe! Those Sox fans can be a little intense. It's ok though because with their 3rd grade IQ's we need to give them a little slack.
