Le week-end (The Weekend)

My weekend – let’s see… Friday after work I ran some errands and then went to pick up my friend’s son, B, from football practice. I took him home and watched the remaining siblings while their parents were out. They just got a brand new ginormous plasma TV that hangs on the wall and cable. (I have ‘old-fashioned’ TV at home so anytime I have more than 4 or 5 channels to choose from I get pretty excited) I could not believe how amazing the picture was on that TV – it was so clear – you could see peoples wrinkles and cellulite.
Saturday I got up went for a hair appointment that I didn’t really have – they put me down for the wrong girl and I really need a ‘Denise’ haircut this time around. I ran some errands and then came home and spent some quality time in my basement – later I went over to Jen’s house to watch the 2nd season of Gilmore Girls. She got me hooked and has forbidden me to watch the current season that started last week until I watch all previous episodes sequentially. We watched Gilmore Girls straight for 8 hours.
Sunday -- got up, went to church, came home with a headache and went to bed.It is Monday – the new season of Arrested Development is starting and I am very excited – that show is pure genius and Jason Bateman is about the hottest thing I have seen in quite some time.
