I have since purchased a new computer. The dead computer was a laptop I bought about 4 years ago. It only had a 60 gig HD - I was constantly trying to figure out what I could take off the drive to make more room. Imagine my glee when I went shopping for a tower and discovered that a 500 gig drive was not a big deal. I purchased a Dell with 6 gigs of ram and 640 gig HD. I also looked at the macs but to get even close to that size of a drive I would be paying twice as much. My brother, the prophet of the Mac church, has finally started talking to me again. I am going to buy an iPhone, I believe that is why he found it in his heart to consider claiming me as his sister again.
So, I bought a new computer but I am not typing this post on said new computer. I am currently in Jackson Hole typing on Mike's MacBook Pro. We have spent the week touring Yellow Stone and the last couple of days in Jackson Hole. I love Jackson Hole - I am relaxed to a fault. We rented a 15 passenger van (we being my brother's family and the Guads and their two great kids) At first glance, we may have a "Warren Jeff's-esque" look to us but never fear, once KJ and CJ tumble out of the van wrestling and farting you are quickly reassured that there are no multiple wives here.
Yellowstone was just beautiful - I can't believe our parents never took us up here for a family vacation - it could have something to do with the fact that my mother wasn't 'into' camping (into is a polite way to say she couldn't stand it) My memories of a family camp-out involved a mattress being strapped to the top of our white station wagon.
It was very fun to all be in the same vehicle even though we all looked like a bunch of clowns getting out. I took a bunch of pictures and will post some when I get home on my own computer. I will also post some pictures of my bedroom and bathroom that my dad painted while I was away on vaca. I chose a medium to dark brown for my bedroom and a blue for the bathroom. I have a really hard time making decisions about things like paint so I really hope the colors look nice.
I will post more when I get home --

Yay! So happy to get an update!
Jackson and Yellowstone sound wonderful. You deserve a little relaxation!
Good luck with your computer! We are SO dependent on technology!
Love ya!
Yaayy!! You're back. If you ever leave for that long again, I am sending you one of my kids!
Oh, my! When do you get home? I just called you at work to check in and see how the trip was, but I guess you're still there! The trip sounds like a blast.

I was getting worried about you. I have sent you several messages making sure you received my package to you from the Favorite Things Swap. Please let me know.
The mattress on top of the car should be a clue as to why we didn't do alot of wilderness activities. Also it was interesting to watch Mom head towards outdoor restroom facilites in a cloud of Lysol spray!
Dad
Wait a minute!
You were in the van? Which one were you?
;)
Okay the van just makes me laugh because that's what people thought about my family growing up. We had a bid green GMC.
I love yellowstone! Glad you had a fun trip. Hope you get your computer fixed soon.
BTW enjoy your new Lia Sophia... you were so funny last night at Bonko.

Sorry to hear about your computer. That just completely stinks! But what about the pictures??? I've given up on ever seeing anything at Clariticity. He's nowhere to be found.
