It is the day after Thanksgiving and as I did not have the day off (what is that about?!?!?!) I am in the office pretending to work. Right now I am feverishly typing away giving off the illusion of a flurry of professional activity. I actually look really busy - this blog entry is a nice cover. I am holding out until about 1:30 when I am planning on leaving and going to a movie with my brother. ssssshhhhh.
Thanksgiving was very nice. We went to Grandma's this year and we were lucky enough to have my sister, her husband and the baby with us. Courtney just turned 1 in October and her parents have taught her how to make the sound of a turkey. It was the cutest thing I think I have ever seen. I am sure that being able to gobble like a turkey at the age of one is a sign of brilliance.
Plans are under way for the great cookie exchange of 2005. I will have to post a picture of the invitations - they turned out very cute. I am also very excited to have the house all decorated for the holidays by December 3! I am still working on what I want to do for party favors - I have lots of great ideas but not so much time - in my head I think I want to sew everyone something but in reality I am still very busy at work and that is just not an option. Oh well - I will think of something fun.
