I had planned on going to a late movie with Jen tonight so I drank some extra di3t coke and stayed out of my PJs but at 9:10 (5 minutes before I was supposed to leave) Jen called pleading weariness – which she is entitled to as she is the mother of a whiny one year old – very cute but very whiney as of late – and asked if I would be mad if she decided to bag the movie and have a date with her ginormous bath tub instead. Being the good and understanding friend that I am I told her to enjoy her bath and quickly put my pjs on. Now I am wired up on di3t c0ke and full of whitty thoughts and keen observations making it the perfect time to post a ‘way’ past due entry.
I am sure you are all thrilled – please just don’t tell me I am not as whitty as I think I am.
What a whirling-dervish month December has been. On the 3rd I hosted the 1st annual Icing on the Flake cookie exchange and then during the weeks following I attended many parties, catered a wedding and went to the Nutcracker. Oh, and it was Christmas.
My first order of business – on my next post – is to recap the cookie party with pictures, recipes and all.
Stay tuned….

How did the wedding go? Did you get anything good for Christmas? I am trying to find a cheap-er hotel there in New York for the trip. Any ideas?
