Brief update

It's been a bit of a bad week for the Tulip Girl. I don't usually talk about work on my blog - not because I don't want to but, as much of what I would say about where I work could be more on the negative side I am a bit paranoid that someone I work for or with would read it and use it against me in some way. With that said, I will tell you that I work for a world wide company and I am basically a Project Manager -which suits me perfectly as I am very bossy and love telling other people what to do - that part of my job I love! Anyway, a week ago today I came into the office to find that one of my favorite co-workers had been terminated. Everyone was completely shocked, including him.
On my T-chart of job pros and cons my co-workers are definitely on the pro side (not all of them as there are some real tools that I have work with) I have met some great people here and have really grown to love their friendship so seeing my buddy all of the sudden out of work with a wife, 4 kids and a mortgage made for really bad week.

Anyway, I have been trying to stay on top of my current accounts while I get up to speed on this new account and needless to say I am a bit buried. I have to travel to Minneapolis Wednesday to meet with another client and getting ready for that has been crazy. And for some reason I am exhausted - I wonder if I am coming down with something - I went to bed last night at 9:30 woke up feeling just as tired as when I went to bed - that can't be good.
