Day 3 at Chez Danelli

After another delicious morning of sleeping in I got up and me immediately made our way to Biscuits for breakfast. I had eggs Benedict that were amazing and of course the biscuits were fabulous topped with Marion Berry jam. Yum.

After breakfast we stopped by one of my favorite little shops, My Mother knows. I always find the funnest little things in there and Dani is so cute to make sure she takes me there every time I visit. I will have to take some pictures of my treasures and post them when I get home.

While Sophie napped we watched movies and napped and as soon as she was up we jumped in the car to head to Costco. For dinner Dani made burnt-butter and mizithra cheese pasta, ala Spaghetti Factory accompanied by some yummy meatballs. I cannot express in words how yummy this pasta was - this is my favorite dish at the Old Spaghetti Factory and she nailed it!!!

After bedtime we each had a Costco cupcake - these things are ginormous!!!! And SOOO yummy. I should say that it is impossible to eat one but we certainly didn't have a problem finishing them off.

Before bed we watched Oprah - it was the episode about the puppy mills and it ripped my heart out. It was so sad to see how these dogs are treated. Wednesday we had taken Sophie to a pet store to look at the animals and play with the puppies and now that we know where they get those puppies I am just sick. If I ever decided to get a dog I will check with the shelters and dog rescue places.

Somewhere in the middle of our adventures yesterday dani's husband came home from a business trip and has kindly stayed in the living room watching the smaller TV while Dani and I have taken over the master bedroom and the 50" plasma. he is a good man.
